After over 70 years under a totalitarian Soviet regime, Azerbaijan is beginning to revive its Islamic values. While Ramadan is the best reflection of these values, in Azerbaijan, it has still been primarily associated with fasting.
We crafted the concept around Westgold's slogan, "Food nourishes the soul too." Our idea emphasized that food plays a crucial role in making people better, both when they eat and when they fast. We aimed to highlight the spiritual and physical nourishment that food provides, aligning with the renewed appreciation of Islamic traditions in Azerbaijan. The commercial depicted scenes of different groups of people gathering for Iftar, sharing meals, and experiencing the joy and togetherness that food brings. By showcasing these moments, we conveyed the message that Westgold’s products are not just about sustenance but also about enriching lives and strengthening bonds during Ramadan and beyond.
